Ideas Generation: SMART Objective for Sign Off

 Smart Objective

For my sing off project I will be reviewing the film that has inspired the tittle of this blog which is Blue Jasmine (I know... groundbreaking) by Woody Allen (The other possible choices are: Sophie's Choice or Black Swan). I have 2 ideas of doing that review. The 1st one is typical written review but the second idea is to make a video review with me talking about the film while showing clips from the film as the review goes by.

The Second idea for my sing off project would be a short movie. The movie would be about the anxiety and much it is destructive for our mental state. It would have a horror vibe to it, very dark mood surrounding it. It would be about 2-3 minutes long and it would include a 24 hours of someone's life in a nutshell.

Creating the Canvas and Developing on Pixlr

Hi! In today's post I'm going do discuss the whole process of making an advert in Pixlr. The app itself was showed to me during the Digital Arts class by my tutor. We had to come out with the idea and latter on create the image advert. I thought of making the advert about the mental health, depression to be specific.

The first step was to create the white canvas that we will work with
The size of the canvas was 1080x1920

The second step was to paste a photo of the main idea behind your advert

I have decided not to put any filter on the photo because I like the colours they were in its original form so after pasting the photo I have added the slang, the catch phrase that in my opinion would focus the attention of the people passing by that kind of poster

After putting the phrase I did a little research on the main topic behind the advert which is depression. By doing this I wanted people to think deeper about this problem and to let them know this is really a common issue that people are dealing with

The last step was to put the logo behind the creators/sponsors of the advert. I named my logo Mental Health. I have created my logo on www.freelogodesign.org where you can do it for free

Modern Sequential Photographers

In my previous post I had written about the beginings of the sequentional photography. In today's post I am going to discuss sequence captured by the modern photographs.

The first picture that I would like to share with you is titled ''Mutters Schuhe'' and it was taken by Nina Roeder. The pictures shows three stages of woman's life. It shows three distinct perspectives of her mother’s youth: her mother’s, her grandmother’s, and her own

Another example of capturing secquence was made by Matt Hallowell. He took photos of skater riding a skateboard. He has captured the moment of his movement the jump and the fall.

Sequential Photography

In today's post I am going to discuss sequential photography which is the art of showing the viewer a single moving object on a single image in different stages of movement. The pioneer of capturing the sequence happens to be Eadweard Muybridge which was one of the first people to include the sequence in one picture

The Horse In Motion (1878) is said to be the first motion picture ever. Eadweard made a series of cabinet cards called The Horse In Motion that included all 7 works showing the movement of the horse. It had an enormous impact on moving pictures.

I have decided to make my own sequential photo. The idea in my mind came when I looked at my Redbull can. I pictured the sequence of consuming a drink. First we have a product then we are consuming it, after that we are cleaning after ourselves and the last step is that we throw away the consumed product

Welcome To The New Term!

Welcome to the new term DMUIC. I am a Film Studies student studying IYZ Media at DMUIC. I am interested in the cinematic world. The whole process of making movies and starring in them seems so excticing to me. That would be a dream come true if after finishing my degree I would be albe to create or act in the films.

One of my biggest inspiration when it comes to acting side is Cate Blanchett. She is one of the greatest actresses that has ever lived. She has won two Academy Awards, three Golden Globes and three BAFTAs. She's not only the great actress but she's also very funny person. Watching interviews with her brings me so much joy.

When it comes to directing the inspiration comes from directors like Dario Argento, which has enormous impact on making films focousing on the easthetic side of the film. He was an inspiration for directors like Wes Andreson and Guillermo Del Toro. His greatest work happens to be Suspir
ia (1977).
